Explore many sound objects
around you with a soft stick, or simply with the tips of your
fingers.
1.
Take a sound object:
look for a neutral
sound. Compare and discuss while listening to each
other's sounds.
(For SOUNDOBJECTS: click >
SOUND LAB & SOUND
STUDY).
2. Produce an animated sound.
Discuss why you think that it's animated.
3.
Walk around with your
sound object(s): isolate a sound from its reverb. Is it possible to exclude the effect of space
e.g. while using your hands and clothes?
Compare the sounds and discuss while
listening to each other's sound.
4. While playing your sound object, you'll discover your
favourite sound. Compare
the sounds within your group.
5.
Look for the appropriate LOCATION for your sound object (e.g. move the clock sound into a
cellar or bathroom).
Compare and discuss.
6. CODA "UNLIMITED"
