Mesopotanian Art stolen in Baghdad

Thousands of art objects like this beautiful remnant of Mesopotamian art were stolen.

The alabaster vase (3500-3250 BC) belongs to the important collection of ancient civilization at the Iraq-Museum in Baghdad.

Shame on the thiefs, ánd the American government. During the Iraq-war, protection of oil installations seemed to be more important than preserving the culture of this planet.
