A few months before he died, I met the gourou of la musique concrète: Pierre Schaeffer (France), participating at the Festival de l'Acousmatique in LA BOTANIQUE (Brussels). There, he confirmed the audience that it wasn't his aim to make music with individual sound samples: he only desired to make research on classifying "objets sonores"(sound objects).
