Exotica is composed for percussive instruments xylophone / bells. (Listen to the first measures only) |

for piano solo. Tempo like a train, Steve Reich's music in mind. Score is realized in quarter note steps. Listen to the starting measures. If possible, you can add more reverb. |

for acoustic Grand Piano only. The score is like a map that shows the way, since you do respect and follow the interactional overtones of the strings in the resonance-body: only F/C in LH and F/G/(A) in RH, always in sustain mode. On your own risk, listen to measures in the middle of Ethnical Harmony (<click and see score). The Yamaha DISKLAVIER is your best choice in this case to perform the widely dynamic life of resonant strings. |

I played TABLA on my MIDI-fied grand. You listen on your own risk to a small part of the realtime composition based on the only E3 key of my grand "TABLA". To execute the open score: First, search for the best sounding drumkey (looking for overtones). Second, alternating left and right middle finger fastly, generate a dynamic and rhythmical TABLA play and follow the interference of overtones. A ordinary MIDI-setup isn't a good choice here to explore this world of sustained notes. |

This MIDI-file is related to a traditional music score into a computer notation version. Originally, the score isn't a conventional music-paper of time progression. Walking over all different staves on the A-4 paper, the composition is growing up by dropping notes and rests (different duration / pitch) over the entire page, in an aestetical sense. |
|
|
|
Sit down at the piano and let play your fingers: you have to be a robot following the 'tonal being '(see chapter 2 of INSANE HOLLOW). You don't play the notes robotically but musically, altering the same notes between 1th and 5th finger in RH (Bb,A) and in LH (F#,G). After the first measures, you release the mechanical play to perform these notes musically (in terms of velocity and weight). |

Ski-scrapers of piano-notes built to Dali-like sculptures of chord clusters. First piece for grand piano in 4/4 (1992, 29th Dec) and second piece of SUPRACCORDA in 5/8 (31th Dec.) A DISKLAVIER is wellcome to obtain a good resonant piano-listening. |

KA-WALTZ (1993) MIDfile Excerpt from a piece for piano in meta-polyphonic style. TRUMP (1995) MIDfile Piece for trompet solo, piano, bass and drums. Begin. NEW COMBO (1995) MIDfile Alternative Jazz Combo for piano, piano and piano (meta-polyphony): first measures only. BLUHE (1995) MIDfile for piano. First part. Surprisingly, the detuned piano-notes (pitch bend-range of -12/+12 semitones) seem to be organic part of the entire pianomusic. HOP (1996) MIDfile First measures of a rhythmical Quatre Mains (Four Hands): quatres mains / two pianos in meta-polyphonic style. ENTLISZTUNG (1996) MIDfile for piano, unmasking Franz Liszt: starting with for-arm play (raw clusters) till subtile Fingerfertigkeit (virtuoso style). Measures from the last part of the piece. Please add reverb. WERVEL (1997) MIDfile for piano. Mid page from whirlwind into melodic peace. KRONING (1997) MIDfile Unconventional sound set of acoustic piano, electronic piano, and percussive instrument (Timpani). For a spacious performance, you need a qualifit SMF soundmodule. (First measures only.) COLORE IN LINEA (1997) MIDfile Lovely piece for various instrumental colors: playing one simple melodic line transformed in a color painting (repeated phrase in RH and sounds change in LH). Full version. HERR BEETHOVEN (1997) MIDfile for piano, Beethoven's Für Elise in mind. (Last measures only.) FOR DIANA (1997) MIDfile a piece for piano evoke the last minutes of Diana in the fatal crash. Last minutes only. This pieces are excerpts from the original music realized on Atari, CP-40 or PowerGlove. Go to the survey of my P-ART electronic alternate instruments to see and hear about the used pitch-to-midi controller CP-40 and to obtain more information about graphical / algorithmic music programs: click on INSTRUMENTAL 4. Go to my P-ART JOURNAL #28 Virtual Hands (<click) to read more about MIDI-controllers: for instance the MOGLI Power Glove.
Click on the desired file (Standard Midi file= mid). It depends on your computer and MIDI-setup, if you can listen to these extracts. A good sounding MIDI-setup is highly recommanded. Listen to a short compilation taken from the entire piece (10 Min.). The pitch-to-midi microphone converts the narrative voice of my daughter (reading from a book) full of overtones into MIDI-pitches. Due to the primitive and retarded converting of the CP-40, there are unexpected but exciting upper and lower harmonics dispersed in this musicalizing of the story about an angel. The voice is transformed into well sounding tubular-bells. |

All GM-sounds (128) are used in this babylonic music. The limits of your sound module or multitimbral keyboard are the sky. Input: CP-40 (voice) and MOGLI - POWER GLOVE (3D-movements). Last measure of LAUTERUNGEN (=Catharsis) only. |

First measures of my Buddhistic song on the same pitchlevel (A4). From distance, I can provoke programchanges (different instrumental sounds) moving (3D) my MOGLI - POWER GLOVE (right hand). |

You need a good soundmodule with effectprocessor to perform TIMPARTI musically. CP40 voice converted into music based on: seashore, blown bottle and timpani. |

Alternative Jazz combo (piano, bass, percussion) conducted by Mrs Mouse in the MIDIJOY-matrix (for Atari ST). Information about graphical music input available in P-ART INSTRUMENTAL 4. |

Short excerpt of lovely music, generated by an aleatoric program (Hut for Atari ST). |

First measures of a piece for piano. Notes seem to be played by dynamic fingers of a good pianist: the play of my computer mouse in the graphic area of the musicprogram (MIDIJOY for Atari ST) is a monophonic line. After all the musical play is quantized (in 1/8 notes) to polyphonic piano. |
