LOST EAR(TH)

"L'oreille oublieé", LOST EAR, a major exhibition in the eighties at the Centre Pompidou in Paris, is still a hot social problem, about the bereavement of human sensitivity to hear.

The masquerade of various soundheads (see above for one nice item) affects only your ears, listening in a black box to recorded sounds and noises from our society.

Concerning the acoustic ecologic item LOST EAR(TH), you can visit the website of the World Soundscape Project: http://interact.noregon.edu/MediaLit/WFAEHomePage. E-mail:<wfae@sfwae.ca>.

Last but not least, I recommand to visit The Sculptor of Silence: Baudouin Oosterlynck in my P-ART Web of Artists. His Acoustical Prosthesis is one artistic action to restore the world of sound and silence.
